The Prosthodontics Department is one of the departments of the College of Dentistry, and is concerned with teaching and conducting research in fixed and mobile prosthodontics, maxillofacial prostheses and dental implants. It supervises the teaching of undergraduate courses in prosthodontics, according to a systematic study plan prepared in accordance with approved academic standards, The department supervises the clinical training in the specialty of prosthodontics, and it also supervises the prosthodontic laboratories in the College of Dentistry, in which a team of specialized technicians works to complete the cases of patients who are treated in the college clinics. To achieve the goals by giving distinguished education, special care for patients, interest in research and all that is modern and community service.
