About the department
It has been clear over the past decade that information technology will play an increasing role in people's lives, and in business, law, science, the arts, and health. The need within Yemen for leading competencies in the field of information technology will continue, and the public and private sectors will be driving factors for the local demand for IT graduates. As companies, government sectors, and various institutions are changing at an accelerating pace and continuously through new technologies that reduce the gap between man and machine; This requires professionals with skills in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data science, IoT, networking, and robotics. The Information Technology program is distinguished by offering a wide range of new courses and tracks that comply with the requirements of the labor market and which will contribute to providing better job opportunities for graduates.
The Information Technology Department includes three programs:
